Skipper's note on the return delivery from Figawi

Areion crew-
I want to thank everyone for one of the most fun race weekends I've had. We really had the boat moving well on Saturday and the crew work was awesome. This race should lead to bigger and better things in the future. On a side note, delivery back to South Dartmouth on Sunday was a raucous but fun affair with 20 knots+ and 5 foot seas in the West Chop. Mike and Scott did a great job quickly cranking in a reef in the main and rolling in the jib. Once we got in to Buzzards Bay, the sun came out, we had 12 knots of steady breeze and flat seas for a great sail into Padanaram. Unfortunately, we blew up our beloved new code zero ten minutes into the return trip. Not sure how it happened, it was only blowing 7-10 knots at the time. In any event, the code zero is being life flighted to North Sail's emergency room for surgery. Every effort will be made to ensure that the code zero is back in action for M2H. Again, I had a blast with everyone, thanks for a great race!
-Michael
