A great weekend for Areion and Rodger Martin. Areion finished 2nd of 15 in the highly competitive sprit class in the Figawi. Wildeyes, also a 33 finished 1st in the PHRF class in the Block Island and Barrett's old boat (a 30') finished 3rd in IRC class 3. Well done all!!! George Nelson
Once the dismay of blowing out our beloved Code Zero had passed and I got some sleep, I was able to reflect on Figawi weekend. My reflections of the weekend leave me extremely excited for the future events. Despite the mistakes we made, for us to finish second in a highly competitive class in a highly competitive fleet speaks volumes about where we've come. After a shakedown season last season and some hard work over the winter, Areion and her crew are ready to show everyone just how competitive we can be. Good sailing all!

I see this first post is Friday the 13th ... and none after ... I hope the Areion hasn't dropped out.
Commence with regaling me! *wink*
